NEET UG 2025 to Continue in Pen-and-Paper Mode

NTA’s Latest Announcement

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important notice regarding NEET UG 2025. It has confirmed that the medical entrance exam will be conducted in the traditional pen-and-paper format, contrary to speculation about transitioning to online tests.

Reasons for the Decision

Officials cited accessibility issues in rural areas and technical challenges as key reasons for retaining the offline mode. The pen-and-paper format ensures a level playing field for all candidates, particularly those from remote regions.

Students’ Response

A majority of NEET aspirants have welcomed this decision, citing ease of preparation and familiarity with the traditional format. However, some have called for a hybrid approach to cater to tech-savvy students.

Key Dates

The NTA has also reminded students to check official updates for application deadlines and exam schedules. This announcement has put an end to months of speculation and brought clarity to the preparation process for lakhs of students.
