External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar held a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, D.C., marking Rubio’s first bilateral engagement since assuming office. Enhancing Quad Cooperation
Jaishankar and Rubio reaffirmed their commitment to the Quad framework, involving India, the United States, Japan, and Australia. They discussed strategies to enhance cooperation in areas such as maritime security, counterterrorism, and infrastructure development in the Indo-Pacific region.
