Widely regarded as the architect of India’s economic liberalization, Dr. Singh left an indelible mark on the nation’s history. He served as the Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, steering India through a period of significant economic growth and global recognition.

On the day of his state funeral, the nation paid homage to this stalwart leader. The ceremony, held in New Delhi, was attended by a host of dignitaries, including current and former political leaders, foreign diplomats, and members of his family. The cremation took place with full state honors, including a ceremonial gun salute. Thousands of citizens lined the streets to pay their respects as the funeral procession moved through the capital.
