
Former NCP leader Baba Siddique was brutally shot in Bandra, Mumbai, on the evening of October 12, 2024. According to reports, three shooters on two motorcycles fired six rounds of bullets at Siddique outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office. Out of the six bullets, two struck him, leading to critical injuries. Siddique was rushed to Lilavati Hospital but succumbed to his wounds.
Initial investigations revealed that the shooters had conducted a recce of Siddique’s movements and had been tailing him for days. Two of the accused, Gurmail Singh from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested by the Mumbai police. The assailants, believed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, are being interrogated to determine the exact motive behind the killing.
